How to avoid nozzle damage in small UV printers

How can a small UV printer effectively avoid nozzle damage?

1. When installing the nozzle, we must first cut off the power to ensure good contact between the nozzle and the base. The nozzle should be wired and aligned with the plug of the board card, and should not be easily shaken back and forth. It is prohibited to touch the socket directly with your hands, and do not stick UV ink or other liquids, otherwise it may cause the nozzle to short-circuit and burn. If the nozzle cable is replaced in the later stage, it must also be turned off and powered off before replacement.

2. After installing and powering on the equipment, it is necessary to connect the ground wire. In order to effectively handle the impact of static electricity generated by the machine during operation, if the static electricity is not released in a timely manner or exported, it may damage some electronic components on the equipment, such as nozzles, boards, or power supplies.

3. After starting the machine, perform daily maintenance work by printing the status diagram of the test strip nozzle. If any broken wires are found during printing, we need to clean them in a timely manner and wipe the surface of the nozzle with cleaning solution. In severe cases, we can use cleaning solution to rinse or soak the cleaning nozzle.

4. During the printing process, we must prevent the printed object from hitting the printing nozzle. When printing magnetic or charged products, we must pay attention to the material height of the nozzle.

5. After printing, we pour a little cleaning solution onto the ink pad to moisturize it. We should not use alcohol as it contains moisture, which can cause irreparable damage to the nozzle.

6. Some customers may print some reflective materials and try to clean them once when printing a version of the product to avoid light passing through the reflective materials and refracting onto the surface of the nozzle, causing the ink to become fixed to the nozzle.

7. Do not use inferior UV ink. Using poor ink can affect the lifespan of the nozzle and also accelerate its wear and tear.
