Reasons for Difficult Drying of Small UV Printers

What are the reasons why UV printers do not print dry images?

1. The wavelength of ultraviolet radiation does not match well with the curing agent in the ink, which can lead to incomplete solidification.

2. We need to check if the power of the UV lamp is turned on. Or if the power of the LED is turned on relatively low, it will result in the energy emitted not meeting a set standard. Normal UV lights should be adjusted to 60% to 70%.

3. We need to check whether the moisturizing solution inside the nozzle is cleaned and completely flushed out after the machine is moisturized.

4. Check if all UV settings in the software are turned on, and if there is any deviation between the UV lamp spacing and a numerical value on the software.

5. Check if the antifreeze in the UV and other water tanks is insufficient, and if the water pipes are bent. When the water level in the tank is relatively low, the water circulation is insufficient, which will lower the temperature of the UV and other water. Overheating the water temperature will trigger a power-off protection mechanism such as UV, and the UV light will temporarily turn off. The temperature of the UV light will decrease before it can be turned back on.
