1. Before starting the machine, it is necessary to do a good job in hygiene to prevent dust from harming the machine and nozzle. The temperature of the air conditioner should be controlled at around 25 degrees Celsius. Without air conditioning, there should be heating or dehumidifying equipment. Temperature and humidity are very important for the machine, and ventilation should be done well, which is beneficial for both the machine and the operator. After all, ink is also a chemical substance.
2. Start the machine in the correct order (start the control software first, see daily operating procedures for details), and pay attention to the method and sequence of wiping the nozzle. (Professional nozzle cloth should be used to wipe the nozzle. Poor quality nozzle cloth can damage the nozzle.) Before discharging the ink, ensure that the valve is closed and the ink path is cut off, (When wiping the nozzle, it should be gently wiped in one direction, and it is strictly prohibited to use force to wipe back and forth. The non-woven fabric used to wipe the nozzle should be folded in half first, with a width of about one centimeter. After wiping the nozzle with one color, the non-woven fabric should be folded up and wiped with a clean place in another color. It is important to avoid overlapping and causing color shifting. The surface of the nozzle is a thin plastic film, and if the plastic film falls off, the nozzle will be scrapped.).
3. Before shutting down the machine every day, use a special cotton swab to gently wipe the residual ink on the surface of the nozzle with cleaning solution. Before shutting down, print a status of the nozzle and check if there is any broken ink in the lower nozzle. If available, print a light colored spot color map with a color block of 10% -20% solid colors.
4. The air pump and oil-water separator (including the small oil-water separator built into the UV printer and the main separator connected to the air pump) should be regularly drained of oil and water (once every half month).
5. UV lamp filter cotton should be replaced regularly (otherwise it can easily cause damage to the lamp tube, and in severe cases, accidents and damage to the machine). The filter cotton is related to UV lamp dust filtering and heat dissipation. The ideal lifespan of the lamp tube is around 500-800 hours, and daily usage time records should be kept.
6. When shutting down a UV printer, it is also important to prioritize software. First, turn off the control software, then turn off the graphics software, then turn off the computer, then turn off the machine, and turn off all electrical equipment. Remember to close the secondary ink cartridge valve, otherwise the ink will run dry the next day. However, some manufacturers' machines now have backup UPS power, which can ensure the normal operation of the negative pressure system after turning off the machine power. Of course, if conditions permit, It is best to keep the machine in standby mode without shutting it down, which can be very effective. Experienced people know that when the machine starts working again the next day, there is no need to perform the action of turning on and pressing ink. You know how expensive ink is, and many people are reluctant to press it.
7. The front part of the car should be covered with a cloth with better shading effect to prevent light and dust from the nozzle.
8. The main filter and secondary filter of the UV printer should be replaced regularly (every three months). The ink pump needs to be checked regularly. If the ink pump does not rotate or the speed cannot meet the ink supply demand, the ink supply motor will continue to run. The control software usually prompts: (The ink cartridge is in a long-term ink shortage state or the ink cartridge is in a long-term ink supply state), it needs to be replaced in a timely manner.
9. The moving parts of the UV printer should be regularly oiled and lubricated. The X-axis and Y-axis are high-precision components. Especially the X-axis part with high operating speed is a vulnerable component. The X-axis conveyor belt needs to be regularly inspected to ensure proper tightness. The X-axis and Y-axis guide rails should be regularly lubricated with oil. Excessive dust and dirt can cause excessive resistance in the mechanical transmission part, affecting the accuracy of moving parts. The lubrication of the guide rail includes adding lubricating oil to the guide rail and lubricating oil to the sliding block.
10. Regularly check the grounding wire (equipped with two grounding wires) to ensure its safe grounding. It is strictly prohibited to start the machine until a reliable grounding wire is connected.
11. It is necessary to equip a regulated power supply (10KV) and ensure its normal operation. Before starting the machine, it is necessary to ensure that the temperature and pressure power supply is stable. The UV printer circuit should avoid using the same circuit as high-power electrical equipment, and the circuit should be regularly checked for wear and tear.
When the machine is turned on and not printing, remember to turn off the UV light at any time to save power and extend the lifespan of UV products.
