After the beginning of summer, the weather began to gradually become hot. In summer, with the rapid rise of temperature and humidity, not only do people need to prevent and avoid heatstroke, but our UV printers also need maintenance. Today, Yin Xiaomei will share with you six precautions for maintaining UV printers in summer.
The temperature is too high in summer. To avoid affecting usage, it is recommended to control the indoor temperature well. UV printers should be placed in a cool, backlit corner to avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight. In order to ensure the quality of printing, the indoor printing temperature should be controlled at around 28 ℃ and the humidity should be between 60% and 80% in summer. If the working environment of the UV printer is too stuffy, please install cooling equipment in the workshop.
When the UV printer is not working for a long time, you can choose to power off protection and do not leave the machine in standby mode, as this will increase the temperature.
After turning on the UV printer every day, it is necessary to first print a test strip, turn on the white ink cycle, and check the status of the nozzle. In summer, the temperature is too high, and the ink is prone to volatilization. Pay attention to moisturizing, and maintain the ink regularly every day
UV ink is very prone to solidification when exposed to ultraviolet light, and storage requirements are also very strict. In summer, the temperature is very high, and if UV ink is exposed to high temperatures for a long time, it is easy to precipitate and block the nozzle. In addition to avoiding high temperatures, UV ink should also be stored upside down in a place that is away from light, ventilated, without open flames, or flammable materials. In high temperature weather, ink evaporates quickly, and the opened ink should be used up as much as possible within a month. When using it, shake it evenly before adding it to the main ink cartridge.
It is important to clean the interior and exterior of the UV printer on a weekly basis, especially in critical areas such as the head and guide rails. Timely confirm whether the plug surface of the transfer board is clean and whether the connection is tight without looseness.
The nozzle is the core component of a UV printer and should be protected to the maximum extent possible.
1. Regularly press ink every day.
When the UV machine is working, due to color reasons, it is impossible for every nozzle to be working. After a long time, the surface of the nozzle dries up, and the ink oxidizes and hardens. Under the residual light of the curing lamp, it is the main reason for the nozzle to spray diagonally. Therefore, regular ink pressure maintenance should be carried out every day. When the ink on the surface of the nozzle cannot be wiped off, it should be immediately wiped with cleaning solution to achieve the purpose of moisturizing.
2. Use high-quality ink provided by legitimate ink manufacturers to reduce the risk of malfunctions.
3. Pay attention to the temperature of the water tank. If the temperature is high in summer, please also pay attention to whether the antifreeze level in the water tank is on the standard line. At the same time, the temperature of the water tank can be adjusted to 28-30 degrees. At the same time, please pay attention to the heat dissipation of the water tank. Excessive dust in the water tank can affect the heat dissipation of the water tank, leading to the inability of the water tank compressor to work properly.
