Both printing processes for crystals are equipped with corresponding materials. Previously, there was a choice of glue for direct spraying technology. The AB membrane material used in the AB membrane process is mentioned here.
Due to the high product awareness and large market, many domestic material coating factories have started to study AB film, but in reality, the quality of crystal label materials varies. How to choose a high-quality, affordable, and strong adhesive AB film is the key to creating a perfect pattern.
The structure and bonding material of AB film products are based on the interlayer principle, with two layers of material interlayer adhesive. But the difference in usage principle is that the adhesive is a waste layer on the base paper, while the base paper and transfer film of the crystal label are both waste layers.
So many manufacturers, in pursuit of profit, use cheap materials to make base paper and transfer film. You need to master the following knowledge points:
(1) Glue plays a decisive role
It is important to determine whether the finished adhesive will curl, crack, spin, or spill. Before printing the finished adhesive, it is impossible to distinguish the quality of the adhesive. The only choice besides buying and testing is not to be greedy for small gains, and try to choose mature products that have been verified by the market. It is best to first look at the supplier's finished products, and then purchase them in batches step by step after trial use.
(2) AB membrane
In addition to glue and AB film, the key to determining the difficulty of crystal label transfer is to meet the following conditions when selecting:
1. The base paper is made of high-quality Singra release paper.
2. The texture is dense and uniform, with good internal strength and good transparency.
3. It has the functions of high temperature resistance, moisture resistance, and oil resistance.
4. It can firmly bond with adhesive to stick patterns, with strong adhesion and easy peeling during transfer.
(3) Transfer membrane
The transfer film is also a B-film, which is a transparent waste film covering the A-film to transfer the printing layer pattern. Because it is waste, many people use plastic sealing film on hot laminating machines, which is also the reason for unstable quality.
The thickness and high temperature resistance of the film are important, determining whether the finished product is curled during placement or whether the film does not fall off after transfer (not completely detached from the pattern).
Only by knowing the precautions can we avoid quality problems in production, that is, sharpening the knife does not delay the woodcutter. The specific process flow is roughly the same, with the core technology being material selection. Reasonable material selection can avoid the cost of trial and error.
