Relief is a product of sculpture and painting, which appears to have a three-dimensional effect and is usually made by carving machines. However, with the advancement of technology, UV printers can also print relief effects. So how can UV printers print relief?
1. Prepare materials for printing embossing, such as phone cases, glass, acrylic panels, etc. Products with smooth glass can be coated.
2. Open the image to be printed using PS software, adjust the image mode to RGB, crop the image according to the size of the print, select the position where the relief needs to be printed, and use PS to create a spot color area
3. Save the image, convert it to the desired format, import it into the printing software, and use the operation button to start printing
It should be noted that not all UV printers can print relief effects. It is required to install a UV flatbed printer with a nozzle that prints white UV ink, because UV printers mainly print relief by stacking white ink in UV ink. Multiple layers of white ink are stacked, then sprayed with CMYK ink of UV ink, and finally covered with gloss to form a relief effect.
